Virtual Currency & In-App Purchases Disclosure

1) What you can buy
Our services may offer optional purchases such as virtual currency, credits, tokens, cosmetic items, boosts, or other digital content (together, “Virtual Items”). These purchases are not required to access the core service unless stated at the point of purchase.
2) How purchases work
- Purchases may be processed by us or by a third-party platform (e.g., Apple App Store or Google Play). Your payment method and receipt will be handled under the applicable platform’s terms.
- Virtual Items are delivered digitally and are intended for use only within the relevant account and service context.
- We may limit purchase amounts, require account verification, or block purchases to help prevent fraud or unauthorised use.
3) Pricing transparency
- Prices are shown before checkout. Unless otherwise stated, prices are displayed in CAD for Canada users.
- Any applicable taxes (including GST) and platform fees are shown at checkout or on your platform receipt.
- Offers, bundles, and prices may change over time and may vary by platform, region, or account settings.
4) No real-world value; no increased chances
- Virtual Items have no real-world monetary value and are not redeemable for cash, credit, or goods/services outside the service.
- Buying Virtual Items does not increase your chances of winning real-world money or prizes. Any outcomes or benefits are limited to in-service functionality as described at the time of use.
5) Non-transferable; account-limited
- Virtual Items are licensed for personal use, are generally non-transferable, and cannot be sold, gifted, traded, or exchanged outside features we explicitly provide.
- We may remove or restrict Virtual Items if required for safety, fraud prevention, legal compliance, or to enforce our terms.
6) Refunds and cancellations
- Where a purchase is processed by a third-party platform, refunds are handled under that platform’s refund policy and process.
- If we process a payment directly, any refund eligibility and process will be communicated at checkout and/or in the relevant purchase terms.
- Nothing in this disclosure limits any rights you may have under applicable Canada consumer laws.
7) Parental controls and unauthorised purchases
If you share a device or account, consider enabling device/platform purchase authentication and parental controls. Contact us promptly if you believe a purchase was unauthorised.
